Sales/Marketing Internship – NJ (Fall 2020)


Gameday Tailgate Experience is looking for qualified employees to assist in various stages of sponsorship and ticket sales in New York and New Jersey. The position offers the opportunity for growth within the company and provides experience in sponsorship procurement, ticket sales, and event production. Candidates must be professional, hard working, independent, results-driven, and passionate about sports, events, sponsorship, selling tickets, and generating new leads.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Help generate sponsorship and ticket sales leads
  • Contact and sell event tickets and packages to fans and local businesses
  • Perform market research and contact businesses, organizations, and individuals for partnerships
  • Perform Cold Calls and Door to Door selling, when necessary
  • Attend weekly in-person meetings with Ticket and Partnership leads
  • Assist with Event production and Social Media marketing where needed


  • Must attend a University in New Jersey during Fall 2020
  • Must Be Junior or Senior needing College Internship Credit
  • Must be able to travel throughout NJ
  • 1-2 years experience in sports/events/sales/marketing
  • Basic knowledge of sports/football/events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong communication abilities: oral, written, and presentation
  • Desire to work in sports and a small business environment

Commission pay may become available for certain projects.
