Sports Management Internship – NJ (Spring 2021)


Gameday Tailgate Experience (“GTE”) is looking for qualified interns to assist in various stages of Partnerships and Ticket Sales. The internship offers the opportunity for a hands on experience in ticket sales, partnership procurement, and event production. Candidates must be professional, hard working, independent, results-driven, and passionate about sports, events, sponsorship, selling tickets, and generating new leads.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist in social media marketing and the distribution/delivery of marketing materials
  • Help generate sponsorship and ticket sales leads
  • Contact and sell event tickets and packages to fans
  • Perform market research and contact businesses, organizations, and individuals for partnerships
  • Assist with event preparation, production, execution


  • Must attend live and/or attend a University in New Jersey in Spring 2021
  • Must Be Junior or Senior needing College Internship Credit
  • 1-2 years experience in sports/events/sales/business
  • Basic knowledge of sports/football/events
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong communication abilities: oral, written, and presentation
  • Desire to work in sports and in a small business environment

Commission pay may become available for certain projects.
